I know. Its all over the web. That's why I had to give it to you too. The song is too good to not post. You dubstep lovers are in for a treat. The king of dubstep delivers an unbelieveable track that is simply to good to pass up. See for yourself.
I love dubstep. Period. I think this genre will blow up over the next few years. And this song is perfect for those of you who are finishing their finals. The first song that I will play when I get out of my final in the morning is this song. The Canadian duo gives us this track that is very impressive. The synths, the bass, and the drops all add to one great track. Bang this after your test I know I will.
This guyy. Brenton Duvall's remixes are always so refreshing. You never know what your going to get. This time he goes over a Nicky Blitz track. Enjoy, and look for Brenton's work in Top 50 songs very soon!
Wow. I am a huge fan of this kid. I know he might have a lot of haters but I have to say the guy just flat delivers. It is easy to throw the "white rapper" stereotype out there. But IanJ absolutely deserves a listen. He takes a Hip-Pop approach and it works perfectly. There is a definite electronic emphasis in most of his mixtapes, including Happy Birthday. This tape is a collection of songs Ian covers, and raps over some great beats. Below, I will first list my favorite songs on the tape, followed by a video of the hit song "Hang Over (From You)". As a special treat, I will provide a download link for his previous tape, Pop Culture. I will be featuring Ian in the future in an artist review, and don't be surprised if either of these tapes shows up in the TOP 25. Enjoy the music and look out for this kid.
I was introduced to Upper West earlier this week and I am very excited about the future these two guys could have. Doug Gleicher and Jesse Fink out of NYC could be the next big thing in the college rap game. The impressive lyricism from Doug matched by the outstanding production from Jesse really makes these guys a great combo. I have posted there latest track below, which will be on their debut mixtape WEST SIDE STORIES, along with some others. Enjoy!
BIO Put simply, The Dean’s List is a music group based out of Boston, Massachusetts. But in reality there’s so much more to it than that. They’re a group of individuals that have come together under one common belief/purpose. And that is to provide innovative yet professional quality music and media on a national (and eventually international) platform. While music is of course key, The Dean’s List is also keen on the entire package; ranging from anything such as music videos to social media strategies. Having already recorded, promoted and performed in places like Paris, France and created a movement back in the states they’re well on their way to bringing their visions to life. Whether it be Hip Hop, Pop, Rock or anything in between, they’re a group of highly motivated and highly talented people who strive to make music for everyone. (itsthedeanslist.com)
REVIEW There is a reason that I picked The Dean's List as my first artist to review. There is simply something about them. "Kardashian" was the first song I heard by these guys, and ever since I have been hooked, and constantly have been looking if they were coming out with anything new. The thing that is so impressive about them is their maturity at a young age. They know what they want to accomplish and they will do anything to achieve it. I think that these guys have a very bright future and here at T.M.A. we will be giving you any info that we find regarding this group of guys. Anything they come out with is SICK. PERIOD. They have released 2 mixtapes and numerous singles. I have labeled my favorite songs in BOLD.
MIXTAPES
The Dean' s List- Undeclared 1. I’ll Be Okay 2. Be Different 3. Impossible 4. Infinity 5. Back In A Minute 6. Kardashian 7. Last Semester 8. My Way 9. Ready To Go 10. Tumbling Down 11. Undeclared 12. Valley Girl/Breakeven Remix
The bottom line is these guys will be huge. I'm glad I could introduce you to one of my favorite rap groups out there right now. Enjoy the mixtapes, the songs, and this video! It will give you a better idea of who these guys are.
Robot Pirate Monkey, the electronic group from Boulder, Colorado, came out with a free album and I knew this would be a nice little gift to apologize for the couple days I was absent. This is an album full of headbanging tracks. There is a perfect incorporation of dubstep into the music where it is not too overbearing. Everything just flows well and I really enjoyed listening to it all the way through. They gave this album away in hopes that you will support them in the future, so if anyone gets a chance give them a shoutout. I have listed a couple songs that I would listen to first if I were you.
Los is a rapper that not enough people know about. He doesn't care what beat he gets on, he will destroy anything that is thrown at him. He is one of the best lyricists I know, and this mixtape really shows his talents to the world, along with anyone who ever doubted him. DJ Ill Will and DJ Drama host the tape and many artists are featured such as XV, Twista, and Kid Ink. I know it's a little late, but here's the tape. Check out my favorite tracks below.
Must Hear Tracks:

"Never Say Never"
"Shine"
"Whats Good"
"Fast Lane"
"Make You Proud"
Listen to "Make You Proud" below and download as well!
This is a simply a must download. There is no other way to put it. The guys over at Good Music All Day worked real hard to put this tape together, and I must say it is the best overall balanced mix of dope music I have heard in a long time. There is a perfect blend of electronic, hip hop, and pop and the best part is that every track is unreleased. T Webb at GMAD deserves some props for this one. I just had to pass this along. Enjoy every minute of it.
A few songs to focus on:
"Towers" (Fulhaus Remix)
"On my Way"
"Ghosts"
""Dream"
"Would you follow me?"

First and foremost, my apologies for the last couple days. I forgot to remind you that it is Finals Week at Oregon State and I have simply been swamped. I HAVE UPDATED the TOP 25 MIXTAPES through #16, and I know you will enjoy them. They can be found when you click on the TOP 25 tab. I have also found an indie group for you called Carousel, and they have released a three song EP called 26 Allston, as well as a new single called "The Thrill". I only have good things to say about these guys. The electronic beats give it a great feel, and every song I'm giving you is a must hear.
First of all, I would like to apologize for 2 things:
1) for the delay on mixtapes #20-16. They will be posted by tonight.
2) for not posting this song until today."GHOSTS THAT WE KNEW"is very impressive piece of work.
It was released about a month ago, but since this blog is in its early stages I thought I would post this for everyone who hasn't heard it. I was just introduced to this song today and it has been on repeat all morning. So far I have posted a lot of hip hop, by no means is that the only genre I will be selecting music from. I will post from a variety of genres, from folk to electronic, to hip hop and alternative. Anything will powerful lyrics and a great sound, I will enjoy it. Mumford and Sons is a very unique band who focus on the listeners emotions and they tell a story. The song immediately grabs you and it wont let go. Mumford and Sons plan to finish recording their next album by the end of the year and I will keep you updated with the release date. Listen and download.
