Wow. I am a huge fan of this kid. I know he might have a lot of haters but I have to say the guy just flat delivers. It is easy to throw the "white rapper" stereotype out there. But IanJ absolutely deserves a listen. He takes a Hip-Pop approach and it works perfectly. There is a definite electronic emphasis in most of his mixtapes, including Happy Birthday. This tape is a collection of songs Ian covers, and raps over some great beats. Below, I will first list my favorite songs on the tape, followed by a video of the hit song "Hang Over (From You)". As a special treat, I will provide a download link for his previous tape, Pop Culture. I will be featuring Ian in the future in an artist review, and don't be surprised if either of these tapes shows up in the TOP 25. Enjoy the music and look out for this kid.
